Small Island Big Ideas (SIBI) latest project “Outside In” is a podcast series that connects Aotea to other small (in fact, tiny) islands around the world which have undergone some sort of transformation through realising a ‘big idea’.  

Thanks to community support and suggestions, the  SIBI team of Tim Higham, Sandy Burgham and Bree Biederman are undergoing research and outreach to a number of islands all quite unique in their reinvention. So far they have recorded three episodes and hope to get to ten. 

The series will be launched in the first week of September during the Festival of Adult Learning, who are one of the sponsors of the series.
