Insulation & Heating Grants – Do You Qualify?

The grants cover 80- 90% of the cost of insulation and up to 80% of the cost of heating (with a cap of $3000 on heating). The programme is available for eligible households on the mainland, although EECA (the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority) has said it will consider a proposal to assist eligible homes on Aotea with grants, if there is enough interest on the island. The criteria are strict, but we are keen to know how many homes might meet it.
