Hirakimata to Hot Springs Day Trek 9 hours. Hike from the summit of Great Barrier Island’s highest peak to the natural geothermal springs in a day. Along the way admire sweeping views; beautiful native bush; tranquil wetlands; and the surviving forests of kauri, rimu and kahikatea with their special plants and wildlife.

Whangaparapara Historic Day Trek 5 hours. Whangaparapara is rich in history of mining, forestry and whaling from a bygone era. Visit historic sites and relics, and meet a long time local historian aboard his home built houseboat.

Kaitoke Hot Springs Twilight Trek 5 hours. As night falls, experience our natural geothermal hot springs before viewing the night sky or the full moon rise from an elevated dark sky setting over the Kaitoke wetlands.

Motu Bikes Guided eBike Tour 1/2 day or full day. Breathe in the clean air as you quietly tour the island on an electrically powered Motu Bike. These eBikes are charged by the sun and run silently, perfect for ease of communication as your local guide entertains you with tales of history, geography, our forests and life on the land at every turn.
