Our self contained accomodation unit is tucked away amongst 30 hectares of native forest on Aotea Great Barrier Island, nestled away in the southern end of the island on Cape Barrier.

What to expect:

• A spacious open plan unit on the ground floor of our house – Sleeps 4
• One queen bed and two singles.
• *Additional queen bed in separate unit if required
• Shower, cooking facilities, fridge freezer, washing machine
• Comfy couches in the living area
• Covered outside deck area with seating and hammock
• StarLink internet, bluetooth TV, DVD player, books, puzzles

We have a sizeable property that is great for those who are keen to go walkabout for just about as long as you want.

• Walk to our big trees that survived the logging
• Follow Jacs track (if you dare) up to the Dolphin bay walkway
• Take some lunch and find a spot to sit and contemplate
• Or do nothing. Swing in a hammock and look at the trees
