Escape to a magical holiday on Great Barrier Island, New Zealand, just 30 minutes flying time from Auckland or 4 – 5 hours on the car ferry. We offer tailor made packages to include flights, ferry, rental car, shuttles to the tramping tracks and accommodation.
Our four accommodation units are set in over 1.5 acres of park like grounds, in quiet surroundings frequented by bird life including banded rail, kaka, kereru, tui, many finches and fantails. Each unit is self contained with its own entrance, kitchen and bathroom.
The Lodge is within easy walking distance to beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes, the Currach Irish Pub, Tipi and Bobs Waterfront Lodge and the Great Barrier Social Club.
Unit 1:

Unit 3:
| Sleeps up to 4 people This compact unit best suits a couple and has a master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen facilities including fridge and gas oven cooker, and a loft with a couch/sofa bed (which can be made into a double or 2 singles). |

Unit 4:
| Sleeps up to 6 people in studio and loft Ideal for a young family or group on a budget. This open plan room has 4 single comfortable bunks with two single mattresses in the loft area (can be made into a double) which is accessed via a ladder. Separate bathroom with shower and hand wash basin. The kitchenette / dining area with 2 burner gas cooker and fridge. |
