Last week, 8 tonnes of sorted plastics were transported from Anamata off the island by Liftit.
This shipment included 13 bales of hard plastics, 1 bin (300 kg) of plastic lids, and 8 bales of soft plastic, which are destined for FuturePost to become posts or raised garden bed surrounds.
A big shoutout to everyone who has been diligently sorting and bringing plastics to Anamata. This represents a significant effort that diverts waste from landfill, supporting reuse and sustainability.
