A word from our wise police, wear your seatbelt!

If you have read those words and you’re rolling your eyes and frantically looking for the next story to read, then this article is for you.

As we all know, the mainland doesn’t do many things better than us islanders, but one thing we can tell you from a Police Officer’s perspective is that they are better at wearing seatbelts.

To wear or not wear a seatbelt is just as much of a habit either way; just choose one and the rest takes care of itself. But they save lives, pure and simple.

Please know if you receive a $150 ticket it is for your safety and not intended to give you a bad day.
